What exactly is a teaching language?
It is the language used to explain grammar, give instructions and gloss new words. Switching from Kiswahili to English changes none of the Arabic content โ€” only the explanation around it.
Do I have to start at A1?
No. Take the ten-minute placement test and we will recommend the tier that fits you. You can also pick a tier manually.
What happens if I fail a tier exam?
You get a per-skill breakdown of your weak areas, targeted practice for each, and you can retake the exam after seven days.
Can I learn more than one language at once?
Yes. Each language keeps its own tier and its own progress, tracked separately.
Are the certificates recognised?
Our certificates follow the CEFR structure and are accepted by our partner institutes. They do not replace official state examinations.
